Call for Position and Practice Papers Authors, Reviewers, and Content Advisors
The position papers on Advanced Food Productions and Sustainability Agriculture are being updated. Individuals who would be qualified to serve as an author of one of the position and/or practice papers, a reviewer of a draft paper and/or a content advisor to provide guidance during the development/update of the paper are being sought. For each individual suggested, please submit name, address, phone number and e-mail address as soon as possible. The information may be e-mailed to Donna Wickstrom, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Headquarters, at dwickstrom@eatright.org. Individuals will receive, via e-mail, an invitation to apply and a request to submit his or her curriculum vitae.

Announcing the Disorders of Lipid Metabolism Evidence-Based Nutrition Practice Guideline Update!
This updated guideline contains systematically developed recommendations, based on scientific evidence, and is designed to assist practitioners on the appropriate nutrition care for individuals with Disorders of Lipid Metabolism. Among the guideline’s 18 updated recommendations, are Omega-3 Fatty Acids, Triglycerides, Antioxidant Supplementation, Plant Sterols and Stanols and Metabolic Syndrome.

New Council on Future Practice Resources
The Council on Future Practice was charged with developing a career ladder for the profession of dietetics. In addition, the Council has defined "specialist" and "advanced practice." The Council is pleased to share the Dietetics Career Development Guide and related definitions with the membership.
