  PHCNPG is a nationwide dietetic practice group within ADA. PHCNPG members are a diverse group of approximately 1,500 professionals involved in community health services, policy development, program planning and management, research, and promoting the role of public health nutrition in health promotion and disease prevention. Our members' expertise in community assessment and in program development, planning, implementation, and evaluation makes them nutrition experts in the community.

  3. Promote professional development and continuing education opportunities in public health nutrition for members;
  4. Foster the visibility of public health nutrition and public health nutrition career opportunities;
  5. Promote public health nutrition; and
  6. Promote and actively participate in public health nutrition-related legislative issues and activities of the association.
